The entire bicycle industry, and especially the dealers, are not so keen on selling batteries, because there is not much margin on them. After four or five years, your bicycle is still almost brand new and can easily last for years to come. Buying a new bicycle just because your battery no longer works is simply a waste of money. It's much better for your wallet, but especially for the environment, to give your bicycle a second lease of life by buying a new bicycle battery.
