What started with production in China has grown into a strong network of reliable manufacturing partners in China, Vietnam, and India.

In China, we’ve been working for many years with a dedicated team of six local colleagues at our office. Some of them have been with us since the very beginning, ensuring a close and long-standing relationship with our suppliers. Every two to three months, a member of our Dutch team travels to China to maintain personal contact and visit suppliers on-site.

Since 2020, we’ve also had an office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where our colleagues Linh and Path oversee the full production process — from sourcing the right suppliers to ensuring quality control and managing logistics.

In 2021, we expanded our presence to India, with an office in vibrant Gurgaon, just outside New Delhi. Our colleague Shruti, together with a team of sourcing professionals, leads the production process there.

This is how we make it happen

Request

When we receive your production request, we will first discuss the options within our team. We will then discuss the options with you according to our working method. Once we have reached an agreement and finalised a design, we will send the request to our colleagues in China, Vietnam or India, depending on the product type.

Search for Supplier

Once the request has been submitted, we will search for manufacturers in China, Vietnam or India that match your request. These suppliers must also comply with the working methods, quality requirements and level of responsible production that we at We R Asia set for them. Once a suitable supplier has been found, we will prepare a tailor-made quotation. Upon approval, sample production will commence.

Sample production

The sample production process continues until everything is just right. During sample production, our team in Asia will regularly check whether production is on schedule. Once the first samples are ready at the supplier's, they will be assessed by our team in the United Kingdom in accordance with our working method. Only when we are satisfied will we send them to you for approval.

After your sample has been approved, we will proceed to production.

Production

After your approval, we instruct the supplier to start production. During the production process, we regularly carry out quality checks from our offices in Asia to ensure that the product meets all the standards and norms we set. Our working method also means that we always keep you informed about the progress of the production process in the meantime.

Delivery

The production process has been completed and your products are ready for transport. During the application process, you indicated whether you want the products to be transported by sea freight or air freight. A combination of both is also possible, of course. As soon as your products arrive in the Netherlands, we will collect them. We will then deliver your products to the address of your choice.

Product Sourcing Asia

Once your request has been reviewed and confirmed, our team in China, Vietnam or India will start searching for potential manufacturers for your product. These suppliers must meet both your quality requirements and ours. Sample production will only begin once you have given your approval.

After the sample is approved, we instruct the supplier to begin the production process. As your production partner in Asia, we carry out regular quality checks to ensure the product meets all required standards and specifications. We also keep you regularly informed with updates on the production progress.
