We would like to introduce you to our newest addition, Floor! Floor will be joining We R Asia as an Account Manager. Her experience and enthusiasm are the perfect addition to our existing team, and we are fully convinced that her skills and insights will take our projects to new heights. Welcome to the team, Floor!

Floor, would you like to introduce yourself?

Hi, my name is Floor Trommelen. I am 31 years old and live in Veghel with my boyfriend Danny and our two children, Olli and Pip. Doing fun things together is my favourite thing in the world. But I also really enjoy being at home. As long as there is good food and good company, I am completely happy!

How did you end up at We R Asia?

Eight years ago, We R Asia was a housemate of the company I was working for at the time. Jasper's friendly attitude and the Chinese drinks parties have always stayed with me. When a great opportunity arose to talk business, I didn't let it pass me by. The warm memories I had came straight back to life during a day of shadowing.

What will you bring to the We R Asia team?

As well as enjoying managing projects independently, I am also a real team player. I love the dynamics that come with working with different people. It is fascinating to see how everyone works and communicates in their own way. I am sociable and loyal, which helps me connect with people quickly. I am always genuinely interested and willing to help. I want to translate this to colleagues and customers. In short: creating relationships in which everyone can play to their strengths so that we can achieve the best results together.

What does a day at work at We R Asia look like for you?

My day starts with a nice cup of tea. From there, I go through the day's projects and start with the ones that require the help of Team China. They have already been working for almost a day, so it's nice if we can help each other out. I am also in daily contact with my clients and we ensure that everything runs smoothly internally. All the ad hoc activities mean that no two days are the same. And that's perhaps the best part!

What is Floor most looking forward to?

There are currently many new projects with great potential. I am joining at a really great time and can help lay a solid foundation. From there, I naturally hope that the projects will actually go ahead. Because then really great things will happen! I am looking forward to growing together with the client and improving our collaboration a little bit every day.

In addition, I have found myself in an environment where I am given every opportunity to develop myself. I have always been interested in self-development because I like to keep working on becoming the best version of myself. I am convinced that as long as I continue to grow as a person, I will also be the best project manager for our clients.

Last but not least, what is your favourite Asian food?

Is it okay if I can't choose? As I mentioned earlier, food makes me very happy. A table filled with sushi and gyoza is always good. But you can also surprise me, because I like everything!
